Goonies 2D animation

I've done this just for my reel, with a character I've created for a futur project and using a line from Chunk in The Goonies.
I've done it using my cintiq, Photoshop CS5 and Ctp (the paper texture is just for fun).

great animation!
Btw, how long did it take you to do it?
Good luck with your project!

Great job! I especially like the hard mouth and head accent on the "drop it huh?!" line. All of the integrating overlapping action is really well done too.

There are two minor things that I noticed: when the character leans forward, and then forward again, he seems a bit off balance to me. The other is the character looking directly into camera at one point (around the one second mark). Both of those things just feel a little off to me.

Another thing I saw is that the "p" isn't getting a nice closed mouth shape when he says "drop".

Anyway, none of that is major, and, as I said it looks great. Keep up the great work, I love reading your blog!

BTW, What is CTP?

I'me so used to watch it in French, that I even can't recognize in English which part of the movie this is :) Maybe... the part with the statue, in the beginning !

A really nice bit of animation! Nice weight shift and the laugh is handled nicely.
